Little Nubia from Conakry, Guinea was brought into this world without a mother and with a one of the worst diseases that currently lingers on the earth- ebola.
Research has shown that if a child is born from a mother with ebola, the chances of surviving is slim to none.
Miraculously, Nubia has beat all odds. Last Monday, she was declared ebola-free. Experimental drugs may have helped, as did the intensive attention from the staff and volunteers at the clinic.
Nubia will soon be welcomed into a large family, including many brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents.
